It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Marjorie on March 12, 2016 at McNair Manor, Moncton, NB, with her family by her side. Born in New Mills. NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Gallie) Joncas. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Edward Dickie.

As well, she is survived by her sister, Pearl Tanner – Dartmouth N.S., several nieces, nephews and special cousins.
Marjorie was predeceased by brothers Arthur, Sydney, Clifford, Franklin, Stanley, Harley, Norman and sisters Opal, Ruby and an infant sister, Alice.
Over the years Marjorie enjoyed her many hobbies which included knitting, quilting, crafts, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was a seamstress and had the opportunity to teach classes to a group of local ladies. She enjoyed times spend with family and friends and looked forward to her grandchildren’s visits especially those during summer vacations. Cross-border shopping trips with the ladies was something she had always enjoyed.
To the staff of McNair Manor, we the family wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for the excellent care and compassion given to our dear mother during her time there. A special thank you to Dr. Carol Deveau and Dr. Eros and the Extra Mural Nurses.
A family service and memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillian’s Funeral Home, Black Point, NB.
