EDWARD MUNDEN JR.
June 16, 1938 – March 8, 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of late Edward Munden Jr. announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on March 8, 2016 at the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Edward Sr. and Maria (nee Parsons) Munden. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter Cynthia, brothers-in-law Harry Bond (Sarah) and Stanley Bond, mother and father-in-law Annie & Hubert Bond. He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his devoted wife Melida of 49 years. He will also be sadly missed by his children Rhonda Hardy (Aubrey Benoit) Halifax NS, Dwayne (Lori) Munden Conception Bay South NL, Lesley Hardy Rose Blanche, proud poppy of Nicholas Macleod and Godfrey Munden. He will forever remain in the hearts of his siblings Georgina (Wilson) Butler Cape Breton NS, Martha (Jim) Styles, John Munden all of Rose Blanche, Susie (Norman) Seymour Port aux Basques, Arthur (Diana) Munden of Corner Brook NL, Harry (Tammy) Munden, Albert Munden (Lena Penny), Wilfred (Lori) Munden all of Rose Blanche, brothers and sisters-in-law Wilson (Marie) Bond of Burnt Islands, Lydia (Clayton) Branton of Trinity Bay NL, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Keeping of Burnt Islands, Mamie Bond of Rose Blanche, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Private family visitation taking place on Thursday night at St. Michael's & All Angels Anglican Church in Rose Blanche. Public visitation taking place on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services taking place on Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael's & All Angels Church in Rose Blanche with interment following at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
