It is with great sadness that the family of the late Agatha "Agnes" Lavers announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Rick (Trudy), Ray (Sandra), Marcel, Wanda Caines (Larry), Lisa Barton (Glen), Debbie Lavers (Brian) and Kelly Veitch (Brent); grandchildren: Jennifer, Sheldon, Jason, Aimee, Bradley, Natasha, Joshua, Renee, Kayla, Blaine, Ashley, Candace, Noah, Hailey, Brianna, Andrew, Liam and Meaghan; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Chris (Marg) and Andy; sisters: Donna (Leo), Betty (Roy), Patsy (Joe) and Corina (Vern); as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years Raymond; son: Terry; parents Moses and Lucy; brothers: Leo, Jack (Evelyn), Patrick, and Gordon "Bud" (Ina); sisters: Nora (Cyril), Mildred (Joe), and Francis (Bill). Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
