The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, March 17, 2016, of Theresa “Marion” Gallant of Summerside, formerly of Bloomfield and Burlington, ON., aged 86 years, wife of the late Joseph “Jim” Marcel Gallant. Born on October 14, 1929, in Piusville, daughter of the late John and Jennie Gallant. Dear mother to Steve (Margaret), Streetsville, ON.; Paul (Lori), Hamilton ON.; Doug, Duvar; and Tom (Jen), Caledon East, ON. Loving grandmother of Lauren and Scott. Dear sister to Clifford (Rita) Gallant, Aurora, ON; step-siblings Mildred (late Clarence) Pineau, Summerside; Edna (Bill) Matthews, NS; Beatrice (late Tony) Doiron, Guelph ON; Marie (late Joe) Nobasky, Ohio; late Leo (late Theresa); late Edgar (late Lois); Alyre (Margaret); late Elmer (Marjorie); late Tilman (late Erma); and late Martin. Marion was predeceased by her husband Jim (2010). Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel with no visiting hours or funeral to be held by personal request. Interment will be held at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers in memory of Marion, memorials to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
