NICKERSON, Rodney Lee, 60, of Shelburne, passed away peacefully at Surf Lodge Continuing Care Centre, Lockeport, on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Rodney was employed with the Town of Shelburne for over 30 years. His last year was spent at Surf Lodge, where he called home. He enjoyed participating in the leisure activities and enjoyed the family warmth of the residents and staff. Rodney was predeceased by his parents, Stella and Daniel Nickerson; sisters Mary Hemeon and Valerie Stewart. He is survived by brother, St. Clair Nickerson of Nakile; niece, Karen Swim (Jack), Lockeport, as well as many more nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by Aunt Helen. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium Ltd., Shelburne. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Surf Lodge Continuing Care Centre, Activities Program.
