LEONA A. GERVAIS (née DUFFEY)
December 12, 1930 – March 19, 2016
It is with sadness that I announce the passing of my mom. Four years with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) robbed her of all of her physical abilities, except one. I was still always able to make her laugh. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara; parents Mary and Delbert; beloved dog A.J.; sister-in-law Joan; and brother Cam. Leona is survived by her husband Paul; daughter Amber; and sister Clara; along with niece; Sandra (Roger) Blyth and their children: Kevin and his son Luca, and Carla; nephew Kelly Duffey (Marcy) and their children: Tyson Duffey, Rhyann (Trevor) Mattus and Calder Duffey; sisters-in-law Leona J. Gervais and Loretta Gervais; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. There will be a private family celebration of mom’s life. Donations in memory of mom may be made to the Regina Humane Society or the Pasqua Hospital Auxiliary. I would also like to thank the staff at Sunset Extendicare for their care and compassion.
