Blair Edwin, MacAualy, 58, passed away peacefully after a brief illness in Hillside Boularderie surrounded by those who loved him.
Blair is survived by his wife Dianne and stepsons Aaron (Denise) and Travis with whom Blair shared a unique bond. He is also survived by his mother Agnes who was so special to him and such a blessing in his life, his sisters Linda Collingwood (John), Blanche MacKenzie (Kirk) and special brother Curtis (Yvonne), aunt Teresa as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Blair was predeceased by his father John W. in 1980.
Blair had worked for the last few years in Alberta but after becoming ill returned home to his beloved Cape Breton where he could look out over the lake from his house and spend time in his boat doing what he loved best.

In Blair’s honour a gathering will take place on Thursday, March 31 from the Big Bras d’Or Firehall from 2-4 p.m. Immediately following visitation, a private family session with Rev. P. MacDonald will take place.
