The death occurred at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Thursday, March 24, 2016, of Margaret Rankin, formerly of Summerside, aged 98 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late E. Keith and Adela (Mill) Cameron. Left to mourn is her son John (Bertha) Rankin, Summerside; two grandchildren Lisa (Billy) Williams and Robbie (Jennifer) Rankin; five great-grandchildren Jordan (Jenna) and Paige Rankin; Brandon, Matthew and Aidan Williams; one special niece Betty (Lloyd) Finley, Red Deer, Alta.; and by a nephew C. Keith (Susan) Cameron, Calgary, Alta. Predeceased by her brothers G. Frank (Hope) Cameron and Edward G. Cameron; and by sisters Jessie Tippet and Jean MacInnis. Margaret was a member of the P.E.I. Sports Hall of Fame. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. No visiting hours by personal request.
