LeBLANC, HENRI
Henri D. LeBlanc of Pre-d’en-Haut passed away at CHU Dr. Georges L Dumont on Saturday March 26, 2016 at the age of 84. Born in Moncton on January 5, 1932, he was the son of the late Desire LeBlanc and the late Hermance Gautreau.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a sheetrock installer and a store operator. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pre-d’en-Haut. Henri and his wife Catherine raised Donald Gautreau as a foster child for six years.
He will be sadly missed by his brother, George Y. (Donalda) LeBlanc of Gautreau Village and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine and by four brothers, Laurie, Gerard, Oscar and Jean.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Wednesday, March 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pre-d’en-Haut on Thursday, March 31 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
