It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Florence Walker on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Northside Guest Home, North Sydney.
She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Jennie (Penney) Moore.
Florence enjoyed needlepoint and spending time with her family.
Florence is survived by her son, Wayne (Janice) Crummey; granddaughter, Amy Cairns, sister, Dianne Costie; brothers, Ronald (Lillian), Clyde (Dorothy), Jack (Rita), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Neil Walker, daughter, Joan Cairns, sister, Ruth Gatza
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home with the memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
