MANNING, CLARA PEARL (ROSSITER)
1925-2016
Clara Pearl Manning, 90, of Forest Dale Home passed away peacefully on March 30, 2016 at the nursing home. Clara was born in Waterside on June 5, 1925 the daughter of the late Hartford and Carrie (Stewart) Rossiter.
Clara was a member of the United Church of Canada. Clara settled in New Horton in the 1960's, her happiest times enjoying outdoor activities, hunting, and fishing. After moving to Riverside-Albert in 2002, she was an enthusiastic volunteer and worker for a number of community organizations. Clara never had any children of her own but her many nieces and nephews and their families were very special to her. In turn, they provided her much support and care particularly during her years in Riverside-Albert. She will be remembered for her quick wit and that little twinkle in her eye when she was up to something. "What we keep in memory is ours forever."
She will be deeply missed by her two sisters, Marjorie Butland of Fredericton and Jean Butland of Waterside; her many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Fred; siblings, Eva, Osman, Viola, John, Ruth, Frank, Dora, Edward, Carrie, Annie, Charles, Zeta, Ronald and Veta.
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm. The Funeral Service will be at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, April 4th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further fellowship and refreshments in the reception area at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, NB at a later date.
