BALL, CELWYN P.
1922 - 2016
Celwyn Ball of Moncton, 93, passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in London, England, Celwyn was the son of the late Fred and Dorothy Ball.
He is survived by his daughters Rosalind Bell (David Stitt) of Ottawa, Carolyn Keirstead (Wallace Keirstead) of Riverview and Alison Ball (Peter Hicks) of Almonte, Ontario; his grandchildren Ian and Heather Keirstead; and his beloved friend Norma Bannerman.
He was predeceased by his wife Patricia and his sister Kathleen.
Celwyn was a WWII veteran of the British Army; an engineer at the Steel Company of Canada in Hamilton, Ontario; a director of Sir Winston Churchill societies; and an avid international traveller.
Visitation: Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, 2:00 to 4:00pm from Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB. Memorial Service: Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 at St. George’s Anglican Church, Moncton. Reception to follow.
