Bonnie Jean Taggart (nee Jenkins), formerly of Stratford, P.E.I. passed away, after a brief illness, in Phoenix Arizona on Thursday, March 24th, 2016.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Julia Taggart and siblings Debbie (Rick), Kathy (Tim), Stephen (Sharon), Valerie, and Lori (Joe).
She is remembered by her nieces and nephews Chris, Andy, Melissa, Esther, Patrick, Daniel, Stephanie, Matthew, Rebecca, Spencer, Alex, Meaghan, Madeleine, and Mason.
Predeceased by her parents Lawson and Eileen (MacKenzie) Jenkins.
Bonnie graduated from the P.E.I. School of Nursing in 1987 and spent most of her career as a hospice nurse in the United States, specifically in the Connecticut and Phoenix areas.
She was devoted to her patients and had a very special place in her heart for the geriatric population.
She was a caring mother who enjoyed her special moments at home with Julia.
She had fond memories of her beloved P.E.I. and will be returned to rest there with her parents at the Birch Hill Cemetery in Mount Albion.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
