It is with heartfelt sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Ida Rachel Kinslow on April 2, 2016 in her 97th year at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, Ont.
Beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Etta Nash, cherished wife of the late Albert Kinslow for 54 years. Ida resided most of her life in Glace Bay, and spent the last 15 years in Oshawa with her children. She enjoyed her bingo and card games with her friends.
Loving mother of Mae Bell (late Larry) and Charles (Linda); proud grandmother of Lori, the late Kimberley, Kevin and special Nan to Cori; great-grandmother of Ryan, Adam, Matthew, Joseph and Sage.
She is also survived by brothers, Charles, Rueben, Rev. Arthur (Emily) and Les (Ruth); sisters, Eileen MacLellan and Barbara Andrews.
She was predeceased by brother, James, Allie, Jack, Herb, Clayton, Phillip, George and Wallace; sisters, Lillian, Margaret, Mae, Jean and Delores.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 7th at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
