It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Daisy passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital in the presence of her loving grand-daughter, Kimberley on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Mrs. Parsons was 77 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family granddaughter Kimberley (Colin) Skinner; great-grandchildren Sarah and Samantha Skinner; sisters-in-law Jean Parsons and Minnie Parsons; and a large circle of family and friends to recognize Gerald and Julia Smith and family, Tony and Joyce Hearn and family, Mr. Martin Whalen, Mr. Graham, Margaret Parsons and family, Bob and Lynn Heale (Trenton, ON), Miranda Porter, Nicole Osbourne and Krista Osbourne. Predeceased by Parents Arthur Hutchings (Tilton), Elizabeth and Herbert Parsons (Bryant's Cove); husband Graham Parsons; daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Keith Moriarity (all from Bryant's Cove); sister and brother Mary Hearn and William (Bill) Hutchings. The funeral service will take place at St. Andrew's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Bryant's Cove on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 2 P.M. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE, between the hours of Monday: 8-9 P.M., Tuesday: 10:30 A.M. - 12, 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday: 10:30 A.M. - 1:15 P.M.
