Joan Ford

We, the family of the late Joan Ford wish to thank the many people who helped to alleviate the pain, sorrow and great sense of loss that has afflicted our family with the recent passing of a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

To those who sent food, flowers, cards, memorial gifts, visited our home or the funeral home, made phone calls to offer your warm words of condolence, thank you.

To the organist and church choir at St. Michael and All Angels, to our spiritual leader and parish priest, Canon Reverend Roberta Woodman thank you for all you do, your kind words and touching homily, to Archdeacon Ed King for presiding at the Eucharist and to our lay minister Don Randell, thank you. The pallbearers (her nephews and nieces), the readers, gift bearers, the ladies’ auxiliary from the Royal Canadian Legion, the ACW and Men’s Fellowship, thank you.

To the Western Health staff, doctors and ICU nurses, thank you for the special care you gave our loved one, to the management and staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home, your care and professional services meant the world to us.

Again on behalf of myself and my family, being able to say a simple thank you, fills our hearts with joy and gratitude knowing that you all cared so much.

Don and family.
