We regret to announce the death of Margaret MacNeil of St. Peters, which occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital on Thursday April 7, 2016.
Born in Grand Greve on Oct. 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Laughlin and Bessie (Maher) Flaherty.
She is survived by her sister, Lexcina (Louis) Groom of Grand Greve; two brothers, Richard (Freda) Toronto, Ont., Donald, Sydney; nieces, Dorothy, Marsha, and Peggy; nephews, Philip, Stephen, Leo and Patrick; many great grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William; two brothers, James and John and sister, Mary Cassie.
Visitation for the late Margaret MacNeil will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter's with Fr. Antolin Azor officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
