MARY CHAULK
“Nanny Mom”
December 12, 1927 – April 6, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Chaulk announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre on April 6, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Mary was the daughter of the late John and Laura (nee Pope) Tibbo. She was also predeceased by her husband James Chaulk, and daughter Lillian Seymour. She will forever remain in the hearts of her children Leslie (Diane) Chaulk, Melvin (Ivy) Chaulk, Marcella (Eli) Strickland all of Port aux Basques NL, and Joyce (Melvin) Mauger Leduc AB, and son-in-law Leonard Seymour Port aux Basques, NL. She also leaves to mourn with memories of a loving and caring grandmother, her grandchildren Melanie (Colin), Monique (Ren), Michael (Vanessa), Michelle (Bill), Leonard (Cindy), Joy (Kevin), Corey, Karen (Mark), Jimmie (Raylene), Jason (leanne), Kelly (Greg), and Andy. She also leaves behind her 17 great grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly. She also will be remembered by her sister Juanita Day of Ontario, half-brother Harvey Lawrence of Conception Bay South NL, plus a large circle of family members of the Chaulk and Tibbo families. Visitation took place on Thursday April 7 and Friday April 8, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Port aux Basques, with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church.
