STANLEY WYCLIFFE LEDREW
July 1, 1921 – April 6, 2016
Our family has said the final goodbyes today, April 6, 2016, to Stanley LeDrew, a kind father, a loving Husband and an affectionate Grandfather. He was 94. Stanley was the son of the late Peter and Rosie Jane (nee Burry) LeDrew. He is also predeceased by his wives Elizabeth (nee Diamond) LeDrew in 1948 and Ivy (nee Elliott) LeDrew in 1993, and grandson Stanley LeDrew. He has left behind his wife Ruth, his children Leighton (Fe) Stoney Plain AB, Wayne (Linda) Sherwood Park AB, Kay Corner Brook NL and Nancy Quebec, grandchildren Stacey Bancroft, Carol Preece (Mark), David LeDrew (Jenna), Amy Pedersen (Chris Holmes), Curtis LeDrew (Lynette), Leighton Warren (Brittney), and Carrie Pelletier (Joey), great grandchildren Stephanie, Ryan and Ashely Bancroft, Travis, Braeden and Melissa LeDrew, Alexander and Rachel Preece, Nicole LeDrew, Dean and Cierra Pedersen, and great -great grandchildren Samuel and Leah Hunt, and Kayzden Pedersen and his oldest brother Fred LeDrew of Bay Roberts. Also feeling the profound loss is his step family that he gained when he married his wife Ruth. Her children, Susanne (Hubert) Ingram Port aux Basques NL, Derek Walters Halifax NS, Rita (Wayne) Anderson Port aux Basques NL, and Dianne (Donald) Gray Great Grand Mira NS, grandchildren Stephen Ingram (Carol), Cindy Seymour (Colin), Jayda Walters, Jeremie Arsenault, Jason, Jordan, and Jessica Gray, and 5 great grandchildren, all together created a warm family environment. Visitation taking place on Thursday April 7 and Friday April 8, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay, with Rev. Steven Maki officiating. Interment to follow at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, TCH. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church or the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre.
