Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, Alexander F. ‘Sandy’ Parsons of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: Fred and Helina; sisters: Sidney (Moss) and Mary (Bill). Left to mourn, wife: Alice; three daughters: Diane (Darrell) Parsons, Bay Roberts; Alexandra (Carl), Mississauga, ON and Kim (Gene), Harbour Grace; three sons: Kenneth (Yvonne) and John (Michelle), both of Harbour Grace and Wayne (Wanda), Brigus; ten grandchildren: Christopher, Cassandra, Andrew, Natasha, Danielle, Sarah, Brandon, Alicia, Kersten and Alex; two great-grandchildren: MacKenzie and Bentley; one sister: Florence Oake, Florida; very special family friend: Denise Parsons, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Shirley Evely (George), Carbonear and Betty Forward, Topsail; brother-in-law: James (Lil) Forward, Mount Pearl; special homecare workers: Elsie Paynter, Lorna Carpenter and Sue Harvey, all of Carbonear, Bev Pike, Bryant’s Cove and Marcella Pike, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Linda Pike conducted the Funeral service on Monday, April 11 from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment took place in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
