Alvin Edwin Seevers passed away April 8, 2016 at Regina General Hospital surrounded by family members. Alvin was born in Moose Jaw on January 19, 1961 and raised on the family farm at Cardross. He was the youngest child of George and Bertha Seevers and brother to Dennis, Eunice and Alice. Alvin is predeceased by his father in 1994, mother in 2014, nephews Lonny Boisclair in 1992, brother-in-law Art Boisclair in 2014 and great-great-niece Emma in 2014. He will be sadly missed by his brother Dennis (Colleen) – Cardross, sisters Eunice Boisclair – Mortlach, and Alice (Ron) Grand – Moose Jaw; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Interment will take place at the Crane Valley Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658, S6H 7K7. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Moose Jaw EMS, Doctors and nurses in ICU departments at the Dr. F.H.Wigmore Regional Hospital and the Regina General Hospital.
