It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fran Wolodko on April 13, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary (Delorey) Fitzgerald.
Fran was employed as the secretary for ICT and Sykes.
She enjoyed reading and selling her avon.
Fran is survived by her loving companion, Farley Huntington; her sons, Darren and Terrance, both of Alberta, Trent, California; sister, Diane (George) Greer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many great friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bill Wolodko; sister, Lynn Fitzgerald; brother, Doug Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18,2016 at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Reception to follow.
