LeEBLANC, VALERIE
1924 – 2016
Valerie LeBlanc, 91, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Saint-Maurice-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Foyer of Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was married to the late Dora (Bastarache) LeBlanc (2001). Born in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Raymond and the late Emma (Collette) LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his ten children; Florine Duplessis of Bouctouche, Simonne Bastarache (Rosario) of Saint-Maurice-de-Kent, Eva LeBlanc (Austin) of Moncton, Lucille Bastarache of Shediac, Eugène (Marie-Marthe) of Saint-John, Conrad (Louisa) of Bouctouche, Euclide (Anne) of Fort McMurray, Léo-Paul (Andréa), André of Saint-Maurice-de-Kent, and Charles (Aline) of Saint-Antoine, twenty four grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn one sister Rita Shettell (Richard) of Trenton, ON and one brother Gerard of Memramcook as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one son Réginald, three sisters; Rose-Alma, Marieanne and Rosealine and one brother Aldérice.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber room, on Friday, April 22, 2016, from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will take place at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Valerie, donations may be made to the Foyer Saint-Antoine.
