Michael Billay
1928 – 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Billay. Mike is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian; his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Shirley; his son, Randy; his grandchildren, Michael Blondeau and Brandy (Kelly) Hamilton; two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Troy; two sisters-in-law, Mary Billay and Iris; and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Roman and Mary Billay; two brothers, James and Steve. His sister and brother-in-law, Zinnia and Peter Korycki. Mike was born on November 25, 1928. He farmed all his life in the Meath Park area. In 2005, Mike and Lillian moved to Saskatoon and in 2013 moved into St. Volodymyr Villa. The Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Volodymyr Villa Chapel, 3102 Louise Place, Saskatoon, with celebrant Rev. Fr. Vladimir Mudri. Private family interment will take place in Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory can be made to the St. Volodymyr Villa.
