It is with great sadness that we announce that Daniel Thomas McLaughlin «Danny», 64, of Moncton, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday April 21, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Danny battled a brief illness with everything he had, showing amazing dignity and courage.
Born on November 19, 1951 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Robert and Isola (Leger) McLaughlin.
He is survived by his wife, Rita LeBlanc, and their son, Rick (Norma); his former wife, Laura and their children: Shonda (Blake), Daniel James “DJ” (Michelle) and Dean (Bobbi Jo); nine cherished grandchildren; two sisters: Faye (Charlie) and Diane; one brother, Rick (Diane); as well as his nieces and nephews.
Danny was a dedicated employee of White Cab for over 35 years. Those of us who had the opportunity to truly know Danny knew of his funny sense of humour, as well as always knowing where you stood with him. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed doing so from his camp Trick Track.
With respect to Danny’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A small family service was held. The family thanks everyone that has sent prayers and love.
