WALSH, ROBERT "BOB"
The death of Robert John “Bob” Walsh of South Esk, NB, and fiancé of Charlene Gauvin, occurred at his residence on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the age of 62. Born in Cabano, Quebec, Bob was the son of the late George and Ina (Geikie) Walsh.
Bob was self-employed with Fernrob Pressure Cleaning, Member of the Newcastle Kinsmen Club, and K40, NB Snowmobile Federation and Miramichi Yacht and Boat Club. Bob also was the Treasurer for the Square Forks Fishing Club.
Bob is survived by one daughter: Tara Spencer (Aaron) of Miramichi, NB, two sons: Kirk and Jonathan of Miramichi, NB; one brother: George (Anne Marie) of Grand Falls, NB; Grandchildren: Patricia, Caitlyn, Victoria, Ethan, Samuel and Nicholas. Great Grandchildren Corey and Ella; Charlene’s childrens; Sydney and Brady Shaddick and Mother of his children Valorie (Druet) Walsh.
Bob is predeceased by one brother: Gary and one sister: Marie Roy. Bob’s four legged best companion Caragh also perished in their home.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from the Point Church, Newcastle on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2 PM with Pastor Kevin Matthews officiating.
In Bob’s memory a donation may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital.
