GLORIA JANE LERICHE
October 31, 1950 – April 23, 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gloria LeRiche announces her passing surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the age of 65 years. Gloria was the daughter of the late Norman and Jane (nee Short) Patey. She was also predeceased by her son Darren, sister Sedilla Gale, mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Philip LeRiche, brothers-in-law Robert LeRiche and Roy LeRiche. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband Wilfred of 48 years. A loving mother, she will forever remain in the hearts of her children Faye (Hector) Carter Port aux Basques and Corey LeRiche Alberta, a proud grandmother of Anthony (Tyler), Dustin, Nathan and Devin. She will also be forever remembered by her brothers and sisters Edward (Rita) Patey, Norman (Sis) Patey, Alvin Patey (Maisie) and Daniel Patey all of Port aux Basques, sisters and brothers-in-law Clara Blake (Wylie) Ontario, Florence (Rui) Melo Ontario, Cecil LeRiche, Norma LeRiche, Renee LeRiche all of Port aux Basques, Steven LeRiche (Denise) Cornwall ON, Donald LeRiche (Donnie) Ottawa ON, Carl Gale Port aux Basques, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Sunday, April 24 and Monday, April 25 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, April 26, 2 pm. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Gloria can be made to the family.
