CAMERON, MARGARET GEORGINA
The death of Margaret "Georgie" Cameron occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 at the age of 91. Born in Winnipeg, MB, on January 14th, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (McDowell) Campbell and wife of the late Donald Cameron.
Georgie is survived by her children, Donald Cameron (Dianne) of Dartmouth, NS, Harry Cameron (Dorothy) of Dartmouth, NS and Donna Mulholland (Bill) of Burton, NB; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; her brother, Jack Campbell (Karen) of Parrsboro, NS; her sister, Sandra Howlett (Doug) of Goulds, NL.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Donald and her daughter, Margaret Haddon.
Georgie was involved in her community and her church. She volunteered at the Oromocto Public Hospital and was a licensed Lay Reader and active member of the ACW at St. John's Anglican Church in Oromocto.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Oromocto on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Canon Walter Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
