Passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre surrounded by his children, Peter and Barbara on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Terrington "Terry" Carter aged 88 years. Predeceased by his wife: Ruth Carter (nee Collier); parents: Cyril B. Carter and Sydney Carter (nee Jones) and brothers: Fred, Henry and Owen. Leaving to mourn his children: Peter (Laurie Zahnow) and Barbara Barclay; grandchildren: Andrea Barclay and Leah Farel; sister: Edith Jewett (Ken); sister-in-law: Elsie May and his life-long special friend: Debbie Powers. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00. Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 2, 2016 at St. Thomas' Anglican Church at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
