TOMMY, MILDRED FLORENCE
Mildred Tommy, wife of Alfred Tommy, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2016 at the Everett Chalmers Hospital after a brief illness. Mildred was born on June 29, 1923 to Frank and Florence (Greer) Noble in Fredericton, NB where she lived her whole life except for a few years in Markham, ON.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alfred; daughters, Pam and Gail Love; sons, Terry (Yvette) and Greg (Pauline) Love; step-daughters, Diane (William) and Debra (Boris) Tommy; son-in-law, Pat Healy and brother-in-law, Robert McCullough. She is also survived by grandchildren, Sean Healy, Karry Moio (Colin), Amanda Love (Shayne) and Michelle Love (Jeremie) and great-grandchildren Branden, Aly and Kazlyn.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Hilton Love, in 1956; her daughter, Brenda Love (Healy), in 2006 and her sister, Mary McCullough, in 2009.
Visitation will take place at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm. Interment will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
