Passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2016 in the presence of his loving family, George Douglas Evans age 89 years. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 68 years Gertrude Evans (nee Dyke) his twelve children and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Saturday May 14th from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9pm located at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, with cremation to follow. Funeral service and burial will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in George's name can be made out to a charity of one's choice.
