LYNCH, IRA
Ira Cecil Lynch, loving spouse of Sharon Barry, of Hampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born December 20, 1935 in Alma, NB he was the son of the late Edith Evelyn (Lynch) and Murray Raymond Linden.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his granddaughter.
Ira was an electrician by trade and worked for many years with Local 502 and for himself. He enjoyed watching old western movies and spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered.
In addition to his loving spouse Sharon of 27 years, he is survived by his children Cathy Pulsifer (Byron) of Moncton, Brad Lynch (Ann) of Willow Grove, Susan Hooton (Chris) of Moncton and Doug Lynch (Tina) of Saint John; step children Wendy McEachern (Mike) of Red Deer, AB and Rick Barry of Hampton; sisters Edith Kyle of Hampton, Jean Demerson (John) of Hampton and Joyce Chatwin (Willard) of French Village; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) on Tuesday, May 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
