WAYNE FREDRICK WAMBOLT
October 26, 1948 – May 7, 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne Wambolt announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre on May 7, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Born in Halifax NS, Wayne was the son on the late Clyde and Pearl (nee Walker) Wambolt. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter Madison, brothers Breton, Stanton, and Howard, sister Shirley,, mother and father-in-law George and Mary Smith and brothers-in-law Rod Smith, Frank O'Regan, and Leroy Bennett and sister-in-law Hilda Wambolt. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories his devoted wife Rowena of 48 years. A loving and caring father he will be remembered by his children Dwane, Codroy Valley and Natasha, Ottawa ON, and his only grandson Gryphon who loved and adored him. He will also remain in the memories of his brothers and sisters Barbara, Clyde (Betty), and David (Helen) and his brothers and sisters-in-law Rose, Robert (Loretta), Ronald (Cassie), Judy and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Wednesday, May 11 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Upper Ferry. Funeral services took place on Thursday, May 12, 10:30 a.m. from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church with Father Lee Lainey. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers accepted or donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Lung Association.
