The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on May 12, 2016 of Erroll Bennett Jenkins of Charlottetown, age 85 years.
Beloved husband of Gail (Prowse).
Dear father of Erroll (Terry), Evelyn Younker (Bruce), Lorraine Arsenault (Michael) of P.E.I. and Glenn (Sylvie) of Toronto, Ont.
Loving grandfather of Paul (Stephanie), Tyler (Shelley) and Garrett (Chelsea) Arsenault; Bennett and Connor Jenkins; Carson, Spencer and Lorianne Younker and Jake and Abigayle Jenkins. Great-grandfather of six.
Bennett was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Katherine of Dundas, P.E.I.; sisters Mary Elizabeth (infant) and Evelyn and brother Preston.
He will be remembered by his several sisters and brothers in P.E.I., Ont and Calgary, Alta. – Hazel Raynor, Cecil (Marion), Bea Humphrey (Andrew), Doris Bowen (the late Donald), Alice White (the late Vincent) and Pauline Garnhum.
Also survived by sister-in-law Eileen (the late Preston Jenkins) and brother-in-law Dr. Ernie Prowse (Pam) of Truro, N.S. and many nieces and nephews.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. No visiting hours by personal request.
Family flowers only, however if so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre or Spring Park United Church.
