HUTCHINSON, FRED
It is with sadness that the family of Fred Warren Hutchinson, husband of Eileen (Carter) Hutchinson, of Mercer Settlement, NB, announce his death, which occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on May 11, 2016. He was born on September 30, 1933, in Mercer Settlement, the son of the late Thomas and Lettie (Kierstead) Hutchinson.
He is survived by his son Rodney and Shelley of Frankford, ON; daughters Kathy and Tim Jeffries of Norton, and Dianne Hutchinson of Norfolk, NY; ten grandchildren Stephen, Victoria, Sarah, D’arcy (Leon), Zachary, Kate, Kirk, Timothy, Tammie and Ted; three step-children Sandra Tabor, Nancy Henderson and Larry Henderson; three step-grandchildren Erin Henderson, Michelle Tabor and Katlyn Tabor; brother Donnie and Harriet Hutchinson; and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his first wife Mildred (Smith) Hutchinson; son David and daughter Pamela; brothers Harold, Ken, Gordon, Bill, Lorne, Murray, Charlie and Howard; sisters Georgie Thorne, Gertie Scriven, Myrtle Foster, Olive Jones, Florence (Peggy) Anderson and Mable Little.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm on Monday. Funeral service will be held from Norton Wesleyan Church, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery.
