BOURQUE, ELDA
1937-2016
Elda Bourque, 78, wife of the late Clarence Bourque, formerly of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed away at P’tit Bons Soins on Sunday May 15th, 2016. Born November 28th, 1937 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Régis and Ida (Thibodeau) Boudreau.
Besides reading, her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.
She is survived by her seven children: Éric (Diane) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Roger (Dorine) of Haute-Aboujagane, Diane Clements (Marcel) and Rachel Clements (Guy), Omer all of Pointe-du-Chêne, Armand and Sylvie both of Moncton; two sisters: Bertha Boudreau, Stella Boudreau; two brothers: Edmond, Émile; seven grandchildren: Mathieu, Jessica (Jason), Jamie, Lynn, Corey, Shawn (Amy), Robin; six great-grandchildren: Samantha, Tyler, Joannie, Jayden, Yanik, Malek as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by two sisters: Diana and Hélène.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18th at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, May 17th from 7pm to 9pm only.
In memory of Elda, a contribution to the Oncology unit of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC would be appreciated.
