At the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 of Irene McCarville (nee Greenan), formerly of Shamrock, aged 88 years.
Wife of the late Ambrose McCarville. Born in Kinkora she was a daughter of the late St. Clair, Michael Greenan and the late Millie (Connick) Greenan. Mother of Clarence (Maxine) of Shamrock; Arlene McCormack, Borden-Carleton; Barry (Ellen), Shamrock; Clair (Kathy), Airdrie, AB; Maureen (Dean), Cornwall, PE; and Randy (Shelley) Freetown. Survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Sister of Wanda (late Emmett Conway) of Summerside.
Predeceased by daughter Nora (David Warren); son-in-law, Chris McCormack; grand son, Matthew; sisters, Genevieve Hammill and Nora Greenan; brother Harold Greenan and great grandchildren Maggie, Madison and MacKenzie Keough.
Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora with visiting hours on Tuesday, May 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora on Wednesday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. Members of the Catholic Women's League will say prayers at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17 at 6:30 pm. Interment in the parish cemetery.
