DR. CATHERINE STANLEY

Passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016, at home in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. “I want to thank all the staff, nurses, technicians and doctors who made this difficult journey so tolerable. I want to thank my friends for their support and, of course, friendship. And finally, I want to thank my family, I hope that you know that you mean everything to me.” Catherine is survived by her husband Hans Albarda (Wolfville), daughters Janna Albarda (Montreal) and Alice Albarda (Halifax), and sisters Elizabeth Tuohy (Purcellville, Virginia) and Helen Vokey (Kemptville, Ontario). “To everyone who reads this, enjoy what you have in life and ignore the rest.”, love, Catherine.
