WALSH, C. GWEN FOLEY
Carolyn Gwen Foley Walsh, wife of John Walsh, of University Avenue, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2016, following a brief illness. Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late Lyle W. and Ruby J. (Fowlie) Foley.
She was a hair stylist by profession as well as a homemaker. She was an adherent of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi.
She is survived by her husband, John; one son, Alex J. Walsh, of Miramichi; one sister, Dawna Matchett (Ed), of Moncton; one niece, Janelle Watling (Ryan), of Toronto, Ont.; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.
By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The public are invited to attend a memorial service to be held from St. Andrews United Church, on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery.
