DUBE, KATHERINE MARIE
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Katherine Dube announce her death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, on May 21, 2016 following a 6 year battle with ALS. Born in Moncton, NB, on February 24, 1957, to the late Albeo and Marie (Larsen) Despres, Katherine was the wife of Maurice “Moe” Dube of Oromocto, NB.
In addition to her husband, Moe, Katherine leaves behind her children, Jonathan Dube (Julie Quenneville) of Oromocto, NB, and Tessa Gray (Robbie) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Mason, Xavié, Marie-Ange, Noah and Lukas; sister, Pauline Dunfield (Shane) of Moncton, NB; nephews, Tim Dunfield (Chelsea Gass) and Greg Dunfield (Kendra Mullins).
Katherine worked at both Chartwells and Sobeys where she was well liked by her coworkers and made many good friends. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and sister who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 28, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bob Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Katherine’s memory to the ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia would be appreciated by the family.
