GOUCHIE, MARIE “JEANNE”
Mrs. Marie “Jeanne” Gouchie wife of Michael Gouchie of Williston Drive, Miramichi, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 61. Born in Chatham NB, she was the daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Florida (Robichaud) Martin. She worked in House Keeping at Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Besides her husband Michael, she is survived by one daughter: Andrea Quigley (Shane) of Fredericton, one son: Jeffery (Angela Brown) of Miramichi, three sisters: Marine Langteine (Donald) of Miramichi, Jacinthe Colwell (Peter) of Miramichi and Ella Woodman (Roy) of Moncton, one brother: Emeril (Bill) Martin (Barbara) of Moncton, two grandchildren: Desiree Quigley and Jaxon Gouchie.

Besides her parents she was predeeased by one sister Celestine Allain and two brothers Livain and Norbert.

Mrs. Marie “Jeanne” Gouchie is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with a family private visitation on Friday from 6 to 9. A public Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 28, at 9 a.m. at St. Michael’s Basilica, with Father John Beaumaster officiating. A reception will immediately follow at Hospice Miramichi, 14 Howard Street (directly behind St. Michael’s). Burial will follow in the family plot of the church cemetery.
