Raymond Patrick Pembroke

Raymond Patrick, formerly of Scotchtown, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his home in South Bar, N.S.
Raymond was a coal miner from the early age of 16 until he retired after 30 years. He loved the times at his cabin hunting and fishing, as well as numerous trips on his motorbike. Raymond had many biker friends who loved him fondly and will surely miss him.
Raymond is survived by his wife Alexandra; stepdaughter Sandra Jane Musgrave; sons Glen (Eula), Philippines, Pius, Daren, Carl (Zod), all of Alberta; brothers Adrian (Patsy), Ronnie (Eva), Lingan, Blair (Paula), Ma., USA; sisters Margaret Morrison (Bobby), Lorraine Tighe (Vince), Ma.. USA, Dolly Cirella, Conn., USA, Joan Bennett (Fred), Ontario; grandchildren David Jr. and Ryan MacDonald, Tia Ray and Dekota Pembroke, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents James and Catherine Pembroke, brothers William and James Pembroke, brother-in-law Roger Cirella, sister-in-law Donna Pembroke, nephews Blair Pembroke and James Morrison.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 5-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Parish of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
