We, the family of Elizabeth Marie ‘Betty’ Sampson, regret to announce her passing at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga, Ont., on May 14, 2016, in her 82nd year.
Raised in Glace Bay, she was the youngest child of the late Sarah (O’Donnell) and Charles Sampson.
Betty is survived by her children, Sandra (Jim) and Ron (Liz), Toronto; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Earl and Clarence (Irene) and her sisters, Rose, Ruby and Sally; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Sampson.
