Edmonton/New Glasgow - It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of Raymond Thomas Connors, of Edmonton and formerly of New Glasgow, announces his sudden passing, on Sunday, May 29th, 2016, at the age of 46 years.
Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennie Connors (MacNeil); his daughter, Raya Connors; step daughter, Natasha MacNeil, granddaughter Ava Lee MacNeil and grand dog, Thomas. He is also survived by his father, Glenn Connors (Jacqueline) and his mother, Catherine Mary Jackson (Doug).
Raymond will be greatly missed by his brothers, Joseph Connors (Tammy) and Christopher Connors (Heidi); and sisters, Monica Connors-Keller (Shawn) and Heather Connors; step brother, Ken Jackson (Christina). Raymond will also be fondly remembered by his uncles, Lauchie Connors (Heather) and Alex Stewart; and aunt, Dorothy Carrigan (Eddie); and his mother-in-law Juliana MacNeil; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Raymond was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Eddie and Claire Connors and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Lewis. He was also predeceased by two special aunts, Marie Stewart (Connors) and Bernadette Lewis; and father-in-law, Alonzo MacNeil.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. A funeral mass in memory of Raymond will be held 11am Tuesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, with Father Angus MacDougall officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Thorburn.
