DOIRON, ARMAND
1936 – 2016
Armand Doiron, 80, of Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Saint-Simon, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Lucie (née: Melanson) Doiron.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Doiron was employed as a bus driver with School District no.1. He enjoyed music and was a member of Sainte-Thérèse Parish.
He was a loving husband, proud father, grandfather and great grandfather; he is survived by his wife, Jackie; two daughters: Monique (Peter) and Nicole (Kevin); three sons: Mike (Linda), Marc (Angela) and Robbie (Darlene); one brother, Paul (late Shirley); one half brother, Clarence (Yvonne); 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents; he was predeceased by his 2nd mother, Marguerite (née: Cormier); two sisters: Imelda and Anne and also by one half sister, Rose-Marie.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at 11 am.
Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
