Peacefully at the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home on Sunday, June 5, 2016, of Evelyn Rosella Christopher, formerly of Alberton and St. Felix, age 98 years. Born at St. Felix on May 31, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Adelia (nee Mosher) Christopher. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Judy Christopher of Alberton, niece Joy (David) Barbour of Alberton, and by nephews Alton (Belle) Sellick of Alberton and Orville (Nancy) Sellick of Greenmount. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her son Wilson and by her sister Eva (Late Waldo) Sellick. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Funeral Tuesday afternoon from the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Rev. Lynn McKinnon officiating. Interment in the Tignish United Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home would be gratefully appreciated. Visiting hours Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral.
