It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Christena McPhee, 86, on Friday June 3, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, Sarah (Wally) Fisher, Holly (Lloyd) Dickson, Wayne (Theresa) Noseworthy, and John (Karen)McPhee. Grandchildren, Glen, Steven, Tara, Amber, Kyle, Kayle, Neil, and Sierra. Great grandchildren, Luca, Evelyn, and Clark. Also brother Donald Noseworthy. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband George McPhee, Sisters, Nora, Amy, Hanna-Florence, Goldie, Virginia, Violet, and Winnie. Brothers, Apsalom, Arch, Joseph, Alexander, and Abel. Many thanks to the staff and residents at My Cape Breton Home for Seniors for the wonderful care and companionship over the years. Visitation for Christena will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, N.S., Funeral Service will be held the following day, Wednesday June 8, at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
