MURRAY, ETHEL EILEEN
Ethel E. Murray, 97, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview and formerly of Bessborough Ave., Moncton, surrounded by some of her loving family and caregivers, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Born in Bayfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late Corey and Leah (Simpson) Trenholm.

Ethel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She worked part time at The T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and was an adherent of St. John’s United Church. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, cooking, travelling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ethel was a thoughtful and giving person, who was married to her loving and supportive husband, the late Patrick J. Murray for over 71 years.

Ethel will be sadly missed by her sons, Ralph Murray (friend, Kathy Downing) and Garry Murray (Yvonne); grandchildren, Tracy Gass (Andrew), Jennifer Murray and Patrick Murray (Krista); great grandchildren, Brady and Ryan Gass and Avery, Maverick and Ty Murray; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Patrick J. Murray (May 4, 2013); several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 am with a Service to celebrate Ethel’s life to follow immediately after at 11:00 am with The Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, St. John’s United Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
