It is with great sadness that the family of the late Agnes Marie Toope announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Gord, Linda (William), Doug and Sharon (Gerry); grandchildren: Darryl, Karen, Michelle, Sherry-Lynn, Kathy, Dean and Philip; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Art, John and Tony; sisters-in-law: Peggy, Emma and special sister-in-law Blanche; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reuben (March 29, 2014); mother and father Thomas and Caroline Cole (nee Churchill); daughter-in-law Phyllis; sisters: Elsie, Bertha, Isabell, Violet, Eva, Minnie and Ethel; brothers: Samuel, William, Gordon, Roy, Andrew and John. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Tanya White officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
