Jessie Gould passed peacefully away on the 1st day of June 2016 at her home in Bear Cove surrounded by family and friends. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Marilyn, Marjorie (Dave), and Mabel (Brian); grandchildren Susan (David), Sheldon (Chelsey), Sean, Michael, and Sarah,; her sisters MaryAnn Dredge and Christina Chambers; brother Henry Chambers (Barbara),; brother-in-law Cyril Gould; sisters-in-law Bridget Gould, Maria Gould, Hazel Genge, Irene Chambers and Hilda Chambers; niece Laverne and all other nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Freeman, parents Stephen and Jane Chambers, mother and father-in-law John and Sarah Gould, sisters Effie, Georgina, Evelyn, Minnie, and Viola, brothers Edward, Abraham, William and Leslie. Visitation was held at the St. Boniface Anglican Church in Bear Cove from where the funeral service was held on Saturday, June 4 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Omar Reyes officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
